Pet care experience
Recent college grad looking to make a few extra dollars doing something fun and flexible to my schedule... taking care of dogs! I began dog sitting when my own maltipoo (the absolute love of my life) passed away last year which left a huge hole in my heart. My family also has two big dogs that I adore, however I missed having my little buddy by my side every second of the day. Since then, I have rescued a senior dog, Henri, who is living his best life getting all the care and old guy like him needs. I love all dogs however I do have a soft spot for the smaller guys. During college I volunteered at the animal shelter every weekend taking care of dogs of all sizes (even bottle feeding newborn puppies), working adoption events, and of course, cleaning up after pups (: I also watched my friends dogs often. I am flexible for really any kind of dog, or any age or any size. The more the merrier! Can’t wait to start walking more dogs soon! Catherine loves dogs more than anyone I know and it is apparent every-time she is with one that they love her just as much. She is gentle and loving with all animals. She has dedicated a lot of time to volunteering at shelters and would be a great person to care for anyone’s animal.

As long as I know where everything is, I have no problem following instructions to do whatever is needed for the dog. I do not offer dog sitting at my own residence since I am currently in an apartment, however I will come to your home! I can give medication, wash, etc without an issue. I have experience with all ages, personalities and sizes.

Please let me know if there is anything specific your dog needs and any personality traits I should be aware of. Knowing if they follow a particular schedule, have any health concerns, and their temperament around other dogs is also helpful.. I am pretty adaptable to take care your dog however you need.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs, so I am always down for a good tug-o-war match! I love to walk the the trails in parks near this area, the neighborhood and the streets of Royal Oak with well behaved dogs! I frequent Barnum park with dogs I walk in Birmingham and know all the shops that give out treats!

I currently work from home full-time and while I can’t have dogs stay with me, I have complete flexibility throughout the day to go let dogs out as well as before/after work. I love to exercise and walking a dog would be super motivating (for us both)!
