Hi! My name is Cate. I was born & raised with an innate passion for animals and my various personal and professional experiences with various pets and farm animals allow me read and understand animals’ behaviors and needs. About me & qualifications: A native to Rochester, I have spent 11+ years balancing both my experience in food service with my interests in pursuing volunteer and paid farm work both locally and in Washington state. My 11 years of experience can be accredited to a few different factors - first, having my own dog companion who has since passed - an Australian Cattle Dog named “KB” who taught me about diligence, follow-through, and the innate beauty of dog-human relationships. The experience I offer is also secondly credited to the years I have spent living with my friends/ex-roommates in a supportive living environment in which we all caretake for all of our shared animals in the house, communicating to ensure all of our myriad pets’ needs were met daily. I have experience walking many dog personality-types, have leash handling training from animal experts as well as a passion for the outdoors. I am flexible regarding activities and adhering to any boundaries or needs your pet may have based on your animals’ personalities, histories, likes and dislikes! Just let me know.
