Experienced & reliable dog lover!
Pet care experience
I have twelve years of experience in animal care in personal, volunteer, and workplace settings. I have a deep passion for dogs and a strong understanding of their behavior. I have two dogs of my own that I have taken care of since I was six years old. Growing up, my family fostered dogs for HSSA in Tucson. I cared for an extremely wide range of dogs; many with medical and behavioral problems. I have also worked for Coconino Humane. My primary position was a summer camp counselor, where I taught children about proper animal safety and care. I also assisted in the shelter during the pipeline fire evacuation, administered medication, cleaned and sanitized kennels, and more. I am currently completing my undergraduate work in biology to ultimately become a veterinarian. My work in non-profit animal shelters has made me a confident and very experienced pet caretaker. I am also a collegiate volleyball player, so I have LOTS of stamina to keep your furry friends busy! Most importantly, I love animals with my entire heart; I hope that shows in my service.

I am extremely flexible and will care for your pets however best fits your needs. I greatly appreciate communication regarding your expectations of me! This will help me understand what I specifically need to do in order to provide you and your pets the best service possible.
Information Catherine C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know: - Your dog’s energy level, breed, and age - What training they have had and/or what they are currently being trained to do - Their feeding/walking schedule - Anything else important that I might need to know :)
A typical day
The activities I do each day will vary by each dog. Different breeds, ages, etc have different requirements for stimulation and exercise. I can take your energetic pups to buffalo park for a run, or your calmer dog for a slow walk through the neighborhood. I also love a game of fetch or frisbee! I generally don't choose to take dogs to dog parks, but absolutely will if it is something that your dog loves to do!

Availability
As I am home from college for winter break, I have a very flexible schedule! I do have commitments such as multiple appointments, workouts for my volleyball program, and visiting with loved ones. However, I have the ability to adjust parts of my schedule as needed.
