I have had my own dog for 11 years and 4 months. Her name was Sasha and she was a wonderful Golden Retriever. I had her since she was 7 weeks old. She was my child. We had an amazing relationship. I did everything possible for her physical, emotional and medical needs throughout her life. She was my well loved and well cared for best friend. She had passed away from kidney disease. She had gotten the highest level of care humanly possible from me and the vets throughout her life. At the end of her life, I was giving her IV fluids 7 days a week twice a day at my house plus oral medication and cooking her whatever she wanted to encourage her to eat. The last two weeks of her life I was with her throughout the day and evening. I completely devoted myself to her. I didn’t get much sleep. I did everything humanly possible to hold back the kidney disease. We fought this battle for 2 years and 7 months together. The vet that discovered Sasha had KD told me to prepare to say goodbye then and that was 2 years and 7 months ago. Needless to say I found another vet. I made Sasha a promise the day she got the diagnosis I would do everything I possibly could to help her. I believe that picture I posted of Sasha and me sitting and she looking at me was her sign to me of her devotion and appreciation . A friend was taking the picture and we weren’t doing anything to prompt Saaha. I am willing to care for your pets while under my watch to the same degree I did for Sasha under your direction. That is why I will only take up to two dogs and they have to be from the same family. I am looking for a partnership with you as the pet parent while your fur baby is staying with me through texting. I live in a quiet neighborhood that has many different levels and lengths of walking paths from strolling to strenuous paths so whatever level and length of walk your fur baby is accustomed to and is up for I am willing to do. I walk about 5 miles myself daily. I am willing to do grooming while your fur baby is with me. Please provide the grooming, treats, and meal supplies to avoid any allergic reactions. To help your fur baby in adjusting to a temporary new environment, my home, please bring his or her bedding plus something that has your smell and his/her favorite toys. The level of compassion, devotion, and commitment I showed towards Sasha, I am now willing to share with your pet while under my care. I have pet sat for 13 years at my house and the pet owners’ houses . This includes neighbors, coworkers, and friends. While caring for your dog or dogs, I would like to have daily communication through texting. I love taking pictures so I will send them to you. Pets can be on certain furniture but not on my bed. References will be available upon request. I would like to meet and greet you and your fur baby before we agree for me to care for your beloved pet(s). Thanks for your consideration.
