Pet care experience
Growing up in a cat lady household, I used to walk neighborhood dogs as a teenager in Seattle to get my puppy fix. I continued to walk dogs during college and I provided pet sitting services for 8 clients in NYC for about 5 years, and have been intermittently pet sitting overnight and doing drop-in visits/dog walks in Seattle for the last 5 years. I recently moved from Seattle to Redmond. I work from home, so I would love to find some regular clients nearby and walk a dog or two on weekdays in Marymoor Park. (Note: I do not walk multiple dogs together that do not live in the same household.) I am very attentive and affectionate towards animals but I am also assertive when necessary. My calm demeanor has come in handy when working with reactive dogs. I can care for both dogs and cats and I am familiar with administering medication orally or via injection. Your pet will get lots of individual attention from me!
Reviews
Both of our dogs were happy and healthy when we got back from vacation! Catherine took them for walks, and took care of our home for us while we were away. She did extra things that I didn't ask her to do like put out our trash bins, water the plants etc. We will absolutely use Catherine again in the future!
Catherine was a great sitter. Super responsible and my Puppy loved her. She was very caring and experienced with dogs. We were able to go away without a worry.
great dog watcher! Stayed with our rambunctious, gigantic dog, and our aged cat, took great care of them, kept in touch with us, asked all the right questions.
Once again, Catherine did an outstanding job! Worth every penny!

I am doing cat or dog drop-in visits at the client’s home, and dog walks only at this time—no overnight stays. I am accustomed to administering medication, so I can do that if needed.
Information Catherine B. would like to know about your pet
My favorite dogs are German Shepherds and one day I intend to have 2 of them--but until I have the space for now I enjoy the company of other people's dogs. A few questions so I can get to know your dog: 1. What is the usual daily routine? Please include approximate times for walking, meals, playtime and treats, if this information will be relevant to the visit. 2. What is your dog's favorite thing to do? 3. Does your dog have any bad habits? For example, destructive chewing, barking, house soiling, etc. It's okay, we all have bad habits! 4. Does your dog have any specific fears or dislikes I should be aware of? For example, rain or storms, a neighbor dog, bikes, delivery people 5. Does your dog appear to be aggressive towards other dogs or strangers? This is not necessarily a dealbreaker, as I have walked reactive dogs before. Just for everyone’s safety I need to know details up front. 6. Are there any allergies, injuries, health conditions or food sensitivities I should know about?
A typical day
I am an active person so my favorite things to do with the pups are playing fetch if they are able to go off leash, and walking with them in the park.

Availability
I am available to walk a dog once or twice a day on weekdays in Marymoor Park. I work from home, so as long as I have about 24 hours notice of the dog walk booking, my schedule is flexible. Typically afternoons (12:30 or later) are best.
