The responsibility of caring for your pets is a task I would love to take on! I have had dogs and cats my whole life as well as some reptiles, hamsters, rabbits, and fish. I currently have 1 dog, 3 cats, and a bearded dragon. I am very responsible, reliable, hard working, and loving. I would be more than happy to take your dog on walks, hikes, trips to the park, and give them all the cuddles they need! I am great with cats of all temperaments and dogs of all sizes. I have a 110lb yellow lab who likes to pull when he is excited, so I am very accustomed to having a firm grip on the leash while walking. I can assure that you will not be disappointed (and neither will your pets) if you choose me to take care of your fur babies while you're away. I make sure to fully understand my clients instructions before beginning my care with your animals, so I can be prepared to give your pet the best care I possibly can. I do my best to keep your pets as happy, healthy, and comfortable as I can.

Catey did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our cat while we were gone. She sent me an informative update every time she came, and she included lots of cute pictures for us to look at while we were missing our cat. I really appreciated that she took the time to play with our cat each day, in addition to feeding him and emptying his litter box. When we came home we were surprised to see that she had even emptied the trash - no empty cat food cans were in our trash, our cat’s eating area was picked up (he is a messy eater!), and even our litter genie had been emptied. I really appreciated the extra care she took, and I will definitely use Catey again. I would recommend Catey to anyone!

It is helpful to know how well a dog walks on a leash, as well as any specific instructions on how to keep your pet feeling safe and comfortable in my care. Likes, dislikes, and any triggers or reactivity are important for me to be aware of as well.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks around the neighborhood, allowing them to explore and take in all the sniffs they possibly can! I am willing take dogs to a nearby dog park or trail if that would be best to tire them out, or if there isn’t much shade in your neighborhood to keep out of the summer heat. I’m not a big runner, but I can do some jogging as needed with dogs who need the extra exercise to get their energy out. I also make sure your pets get tons of cuddles and attention. I work with lots of cats and I’m more than happy to brush them, play with them, snuggle them, or do whatever your kitty likes best to keep them happy and comfortable!

Availability
I have recently left my other job to commit full time to pet sitting and dog walking, so my schedule is completely open to meeting your pet’s needs. I am able to offer lots of flexibility and can typically accommodate last minute requests pretty easily. I don’t mind late nights or early mornings, so I’m willing to arrange my schedule to make sure your pet receives the absolute best care I can provide.
