I currently have two dogs of my own. They are both retired racers from Florida. I started fostering with Greyhound Pets of America here in Charleston back in 2018, and I usually have an extra foster staying with me at my house. I love having dogs in my home. I’ve made my home as dog friendly as I could for my own dogs. And I want to make every pup that stays with me like this is their own home away from home. I’ve never had an issue caring for any breed or gender of dog, and I love having the opportunity to meet new dogs. Both of my dogs are very loving and friendly and love making new friends. My greyhounds are pretty accident prone, so I’ve learned to stay prepared for any situation they get themselves in. My doggy first aid kit is always growing. I’ve also had experience with taking care of dogs immediately after they have been fixed and I’ve had experience taking care of an epileptic dog. So I am familiar with administering medication and I am understand the importance of maintaining a strict medication schedule as well. Being able to take care of dogs has been a dream come true. My dogs are my world and one of the most important parts of my life.
