Pet care experience
At the age of 5 I bought a dog encyclopedia and memorized every breed in the book. Ever since then, I have loved dogs the way a mother would love her child (I would have 101 dalmatians if I could!) Not only do I enjoy giving love to dogs, but I enjoy the love they give to me. I have had my sweet Lady, a Pointer-Labrador mix for over six years, so I am well-versed in the proper ways to care for a dog. Trips to the dog park, runs around the neighborhood, endless games of fetch, 30 minute walks; these things are my forte. I also work at the Public Library as the Children's Services assistant, so I am very well-versed in handling chaos and unexpected situations. I love big dogs that have lots of energy to get out as well as little pups that just want to cuddle up in your lap. I have spent five years training my own dog obedience with positive reinforcement. I am a full-time student who will be graduating this December 2017. I plan to attend an anthropology Masters program that will study human-dog relations and interactions. This is why I know I am a good fit to care for and entertain your pooch. Let me be the one to give your dog love while you are away!

A typical day
I can go anywhere on walks or runs with your dog. Some of my personal favorite spots include Kameoka Trail (off 12th st), Theta Pond, Boomer Lake, or just around the neighborhood. I enjoy visits to the dog park and my attention will always be 100% on your pup while there. I also can include dog bathing in your home during 30-minute check-ups. I LOVE playing fetch, but your dog MUST be obedient in responding to commands such as "come" to avoid runaways (unless in a fenced yard).
