Hello my name is Cassondra I live with my husband, and my two children. (Plenty of people for plenty of love and attention) My son is 10 and my daughter is 12. We are all animal lovers. I was a volunteer at animal shelters for years. I would foster all kinds of pets and I am trained on how to keep animals separate if need be. Our furbaby Zen (our pitty) absolutely loves all other animals and loves the dog park more than life it's self. Our little guy, Erebus (cheweenie) runs the house and is still very puppy like. My family has owned and operated their own Pitty rescue since before I was born, so I have always been around dogs. Taking in strays, sick, injured, puppies, cats, even abused and socialization issues are no stranger to me. I do know how to administer medication, bottle feed, properly bath, walk, and train all breeds of dogs. I know where my local 24 hour veterinarian hospital is at in case of an emergency. I do temporarily live in a 3 bedroom apartment with no yard, but going out for walks is no issue and there’s dog park about 2 mins away. We look at dogs as being part of the family so the will always have full accesses to everything. Frequent walks are key for all animals to have plenty of exercise, socialization, and release of energy. If there is a strict schedule your dog is used to, that is no issue to adhere to. The only concern I have when your dog stays with me is that they will need to be kid friendly since I have two kids. If it takes them a awhile to warm up that is fine, as long as it happens. Whatever rules you have at your house will remain the same here.
