I'm not one to write negative reviews, but... she wasn't dependable. My cats were supposed to be fed in the mornings, but I would text her well into the evenings because she hadn't shown up and she was busy eating dinner herself and then went to take care of my cats. She lives just down the street and couldn't get here on time. I have a ring camera and she only spent 5 minutes taking care of 4 food bowls, 2 water bowls and 2 litter boxes. She also never brought my key back to me even though she said she would. I didn't enjoy worrying about my cats going hungry while I was on vacation. She was a very nice young girl, but her work ethic is lacking.

OK, I hesitated writing a negative review, but now seeing the review below me I feel compelled to submit my review. I booked Cassie for 4 days over the July 4th holiday. On the first day of the booking she was a no-show. I texted her the next morning to ask her if there was a problem. She gave me the excuse that she went to a funeral and didn't hear her alarm go off when she got back home. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but we all have a phone that can set multiple alarms so her excuse wasn't that believable to me. Also, she could have stopped in prior to the "funeral" to fulfill her paid obligation. At our Meet & Greet I told her she didn't need to stay the entire 30 minutes (I paid for 30 min drop-ins) because my cat is super skittish and I knew he'd be hiding and would not come out until she was gone. I did expect her to spend a decent amount of time scooping the litter box, cleaning his food bowl and replacing food. she was in and out in less than 6-7 minutes each of the other days she did show up. That's a short amount of time to do what I asked her to do. I was out of the state so I couldn't really cancel the booking altogether and find another sitter. I will not book Cassie again and I hope whatever is going on in her life right now she takes care of and maybe puts Rover sitting on hold until then. Our animals deserve commitment.
