I strive to make sure no pet I take care of feels lonely when their family is away. My top priority is to make sure each animal's physical and emotional needs are met. I started pet sitting around 8 years ago. My first regular job was taking care of my family friend's 3 dogs, two cats, and one horse. They would call me anytime they had to be out of town for two days or more and I would house and pet sit for them. Over time, I have had more opportunities to pet sit. My clients have included dogs, birds, cats, some fish, horses and the occasional snake. To me, the animals I care for are as much my clients as their loving families. I have a wonderful dog named Wolf and it's so hard for me to leave him even for a day. It's important for me to know that the person looking after him is trustworthy and dependable. I know it is the same for you, so I strive be that kind of person. I want my clients' families to feel like their fur babies are in good hands. I am available for walkies, and drop in visits, as well as house sitting. The longest time I have had a dog in my care was 25 days. Before I commit my services, it is important that I meet the dog I may be caring for before hand in order to assess their receptivity to me, and their personality.
