Pet care experience
I’ve been walking my family’s dog since elementary school. Since that was the one task I could help out with around the house. I’m 23 now and I’ve helped watch my family friends cats & dogs, including care and walks. I love animals, and I truly cannot think of a better way to spend my time than with them. I currently am not in a living situation to have animals for myself. Though my mom has our cats and dog with a fenced yard. I will take Maggie (our dog) out everyday to every other day, depending on weather and how she’s feeling since she’s older. When it comes to other friends animals I like to follow whatever instructions they give me. Following the same routine that the animal is use to is the best way to keep the peace to say the least. There will be a lot pets and hopefully great memories created as well.

Have you ever experienced the animal reacting aggressively? How are they with children? Is there any medical issues I should be aware of? Do I need to be aware of any dietary restrictions?
A typical day
Depending on the area in which you live. I might stay around the home at first, until they’re comfortable with me, and then from then we can just feel it out. Hopefully along the walls we will find a comfortable park or open area we can retreat to.

Availability
My work life is pretty relaxed but more care will take place in the mornings or afternoon. I work Sunday - Friday, but I have the option to leave work for important reasons if I need. Also I don’t work till 2 and will be off at 8pm (the latest.) I’ve been able to watch my friends animals with this schedule with ease at this point.
