Pet care experience
I'm a Registered Nurse (with an open schedule), and all I want to do outside the hospital is spend time with pups! I have been working through another app as a dog walker with occasional sitting/boarding for the past 1.5 years. Though I do not currently have my own dog, I yearn for as much time with dogs as I can manage! In the past, I raised a black lab and a black lab/german shepard mix with my family, so I have particular experience with larger dogs. I am good help with leash training, and I have plenty of patience for other good-dog learning behaviors with positive re-enforcement. I hope to bring a little care, plenty of pets, some energy expenditure, and of course poddy breaks to your dog!

Cassie watched our Labradoodle Archer for the first time last week. She was a great choice! She’s a great communicator which made the handoff really easy since it was complicated: Archer was with another Rover sitter who had to go out of town. Cassie made it so easy and followed up with a good narrative and photos of Archer. I can tell she loves dogs and is very kind. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!
Cassie has a gentle and kind way with dogs but doesn’t let then walk over her either (she grew up with a black lab and German Shepherd after all!) Above all she’s very responsible and will ensure your dog is safe. I’d trust her with my own pet with all her experience taking care of and walking dogs. You should too!

I do prefer medium to large dogs. Things I would like to know about a dog: -Allergies -Triggers (Are they skiddish around other dogs? Can they go to dog parks or not? etc) -Location of essential items (leash, treats, toys) -Any training skills or habits you are working on -Whether they are allowed on the furniture in your own home -Notable medical conditions or medications I may need to give
A typical day
I love to explore parks near the home bases, if I am coming to you. As for my home base, I do have a fenced yard for any runs, zoomies, or fetch sessions. The yard is, however, shared with another apartment unit so I would be staying with any dogs for supervision of the gate. I am close to Volunteer Park, Cal Anderson, and the Seattle University fields. I am game for a good jog to these spots any time! If you have a swimmer, approve of the activity, and are confident in your dog's skills, then we could visit the lake.
