Pet care experience

My name is Cassie - and I absolutely love animals! I have a chocolate Labrador rescue from the Humane Society of San Antonio. He is a constant source of happiness and fun. I have been lucky to give him a life and home where he is loved and cared for. 💕 Dogs are so innocent and wholesome, and the world needs to protect them! I always have some spare bowls, gallons of water and dog food in my car in case I find a stray while out and about. Honesty, kindness, morality, and integrity are principles I live every day trying to practice. I love that right now, you are reading this bio, and spending your hard earned money to ensure the happiness and health and safety of your pet. I would be honored to make your dog happy 🥰

Cassie takes fantastic care of my best friend ( a Labrador by the name of Sam ) on a relatively frequent basis, from bathing, feeding and playing with him to the extremes of picking up changes in his moods and behaviors for warning signs. She noticed he was hiding his nose in bed frequently and found out he needs a humidifier because of the cold house. Truly empathetic and all around a great person, any home would be fortunate to experience what Cassie brings to every day experiences.

Cassie has watched my pets on multiple occasions before joining Rover. The dogs love her. When I returned from my trips, they also seemed much cleaner and groomed than the way I left them. Nice Touch. Overall good person.

Information Cassie B. would like to know about your pet

Temperament - How does he/she interact with strangers? How is it best to introduce myself? Sensitivity - Does your pet have any spots where he/she does not like to be pet? (ex: My dog does not enjoy face pets.) Sociableness - How well does your pet do with encountering other animals on walks? Do you prefer that we stay away from other animals for any reason? Health - Are there any health/medical issues that I should be aware of? Houdini Tendencies - Is your pet likely to attempt escaping from their collar on a walk, or making a dash for an open door? I would like to keep these things fresh on my mind and anticipate them. Proactiveness > Reactiveness.

A typical day

I try my best to stay in grassed areas, as Texas heat can really cause pain and damage to paws. I live by the 6-second rule. (Palm to pavement for six seconds! If it is too hot for you, it is too hot for them.) I have a fanny with some sanitized toys that I will try to engage your pet in to get their energy expended and their mind engaged while on our walks :) And of course, ALL THE PETS. Pictures, or it didn’t happen! - We can discuss the number and frequency of photos you’d like to be sent during my visit or walk with your pet.
