Hey, I'm Cassidy! I worked as a Vet Assistant for over 5 years before making the transition to dog-sitting full time. Being a VA, as well as having animals of my own all my life, has given me the experience and knowledge of caring for pups of different ages, sizes, demeanor's and medical conditions. I will do whatever I can to make your pup feel comfortable during their stay. I have a 2 year old female lab named Aloy, so if your dog loves to run and play, they will have a new friend right from the start! I live in a great neighborhood that we can take long walks in, a fenced-in backyard that your pet can play in as much as they'd like, and soft dog beds all over so they can plop down for a nap anytime. If they prefer the couch potato life, I will make sure there is an entertaining show on TV at all times. My goal is to make my home feel like their home away from home. The love, exercise, and socialization they will receive, along with the freedom from not being confined to a kennel all day, makes it a great alternative to traditional boarding. Cassidy is the best, so conscientious and detail oriented. She’s been extremely helpful this year as my husband got diagnosed with cancer and we had some special requirements because of treatment. She’s always so flexible. She’s also been super safe during these Covid times. Highly recommend her services!

Information Cassidy S. would like to know about your pet
No breed or size restrictions but I do ask that they are friendly with other dogs, up to date on vaccines and current on flea/tick prevention. I'd like to know of any medical conditions, food sensitivities, and any little traits they may have such as being an escape artist, loving to chew, or any kind of food/toy aggression. (Dog aggression will not be permitted for the safety of all parties involved.) Also, feel free to share their favorite things to do so I can make their stay as fun and enjoyable as possible! IMPORTANT: Pickup time Mon-Sun is 4-6 PM If a later time is needed an additional fee may be added to the stay. Daycare is offered Mon-Thurs. I am out of the house for a few hours Mon-Fri (4 hours maximum except otherwise noted) and this is the pups "quiet time" accompanied by a stuffed Kong or chew. The remainder of the time I will be home with them. (There will always be a dog or human nearby!)
A typical day
During your pups stay they will have access to my backyard as well as indoor play with lots of toys to choose from. We can go on walks through my neighborhood and they can stay entertained with games and treats. I don't live far from the Lake Benson dog park so if that is something they love, we can definitely make a trip. There is also a small dog park within walking distance that makes for a fun adventure! At night, they will sleep in their crate if provided, otherwise I have plenty of dog beds around the house to choose from and comfy couch and guest bed they all seem to love. I will be sure to give you updates on your fur-baby throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
