Pet care experience
I grew up with many dogs throughout my life (of all sizes) and cannot imagine my life without them. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I love meeting new dogs and caring for them when their families are away. I have cared for many dogs over the past 10 years including for family and friends and for many families on Rover. I love playing outside, going on walks, and trying to teach new tricks with pups. I work full time during the week, but have flexibility in the afternoons and weekends. Drop-ins, walks, and house-sitting are my preferred methods of caring for your pups. I would love to come take care of your dog while you are away and provide some fun and cuddles in the meantime!

I cannot offer to dogsit in my own home, but I am happy to stay over or do check ins in any clients home. I always like to do an initial meet and greet before the sitting or drop-in so that I can learn about your pet’s needs and get familiar with the location of their food, leash, yard, etc., and so they can get a little familiar with me!

What I love to know before I watch your pet: -what do they eat and where is their food located? -how many times a day do they eat? -do they take any medications? -are they potty trained? -are there specific commands you would like me to use for certain actions? -how long can they be left alone? -do they need to be crated if they are left alone? -do they need/want excercise? What kind? -what is their bedtime set up? Kennel, beds? -do you allow them on furniture? -how would you like me to access your house the day of? Key, key code?
A typical day
I love to go on walks with pups if they are up for it! I usually avoid dog parks because every dog owner is different about how they approach dog parks and whether they like to go at all. And walks can be just as much fun! I am happy to take dogs out as much or as little as they need depending on their energy level. And love to play with toys in the house or backyard depending of each pet’s preferences.

I currently work full time in McMinnville, but I have a fairly flexible schedule for most of the year and can pop in throughout the day if necessary. And I can be available to stay overnight for sitting and on weekend days as needed!
