I was inspired to become a pet sitter because I have lived with animals all my life and love the positive energy a pet can bring into a life. I love making sure animals are getting all the attention they need, so making sure that is accomplished is my number one priority as a sitter! As a pet owner I know how difficult it can be to trust someone new to watch your pet, but after years of experience I can ensure you I will treat your pet like my own!

Safety & trust is one of the biggest pieces to pet sitting. As an example I babysat for about 5years and always made sure that the house was clean, never used anything that was not permitted, & made sure I was able to provide what the kids needed. The stay is all about making sure the animal is comfortable so being in their own home makes this a lot easier!

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I would make sure that we went on numerous walks. I know that a healthy dog is a happy dog, so exercise will be a priority for sure! Since I work from home, getting lots of exercise is a big priority for me. In addition to exercise, we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime as well--so please tell me what games your pup enjoys the most!
