Pet care experience
My name is Cassidy, I'm a nursing student at Queen's and I love working with dogs of all different breeds however, I have most of my experience with terriers and smaller breeds of dogs. I have experience with senior dogs who have medical needs, cat sitting, dogs ranging in age from 1-13 of a variety of breeds and sizes. I am more than happy to brush dogs, play with them, give treats or food and medications as needed, put on harnesses and leashes and pick up after them during the outings. And of course begin and end our time together with snuggles and pats.

I live in an apartment complex with lots of grassy area within it and also near a park, so if I have your dog on stays, I can get them out to the park or the outdoors around the building easily. I’m happy to take dogs or cats in my home on overnight stays and can also take care of pets in the comfort of your own home for drop in visits.

A typical day
On a typical day, I’ll get up and take the dog out for a quick walk around the green space in my complex, give them breakfast and make myself breakfast and head out to work or school for the daytime. Come back later in the day to feed them dinner and take them on a walk in the park across the street from my home. We have playtime and snuggles in the evening typically if your dog likes either of those.

Availability
I’m currently a full time student so my class schedule repeats weekly, I can do walks typically Tuesday or Wednesdays and on my longer class days I make sure to give the dogs lots of love and a good walk before and after class, with some evening playtime. I love the company of dogs in my home.
