Pet care experience
I’ve been around cats and dogs and other small creatures my entire life, and love the way taking care of them also takes care of me! My experience is with taking care of my own pets, my friends’ and family’s pets, and clients’ pets!

Cassidy was great and took very good care of my dog.
Cassidy did a great job walking my 4 yr. old golden retriever while I was out of town for several days. Logistics were a bit complicated but Cassidy handled all the details extremely well and communicated with me in a timely manner. Cassidy clearly loves dogs and enjoys taking care of them. I will definitely hire her again in the future. Thank you, Cassidy!

I am available for home visits and walking, and am always cognizant of owners’ requests for their pets needs. I like to understand the pet’s temperament before arriving and always keep dogs leashed while walking.

I like to know if the dog knows any commands that may be helpful for me while I care for them, or if there are any commands you want me to use (such as asking them to sit before eating or going outside). I also like to know what their temperament is like when they play, and what is the best way to help them calm down if they get too excited.
A typical day
I enjoy letting dogs lead the walk (within reason) to check out all the good smells and also do some exploring myself. I typically keep walks close to the owner's home unless other requests are made, and I aim to get some great pictures while we are on our adventure, too!

Availability
I work a regular 8am-5pm schedule Monday-Thursday, with a fair bit of flexibility outside these hours. I can easily do evening drop-ins or walks any day of the week if exact timing is flexible. I am also a good house sitting fit for weekend trips (Thursday evening-Sunday), or animals that can be left alone for ~10 hours during my workday.
