Cassidy and and animals they are of like minds when I watch the tv show Doctor Doolittle. I see Cassidy in the role of the Doctor she just seems to know what there thinking. I have actually never seen one be aggressive to her. Large animals or small she is fascinated by all of them. Because of Cassidy we were going on vacation at the bay house we had 1 small dogs going with us. And we had hatched a duck egg found on the island she insisted at the age of 5 it must go. So it went with us. The egg hatched and she was mom it went every where with us found a turtle it came along too. It was a great vacation fishing with the dog, duck, and the turtle. She kept a fish. Took it home and put it in a tank grew so big we had to release it some time later. Right now she has aquarium in every room dogs and cats. She is responsible for all there grooming and feeding. She makes an impression on every animal she meets. My dog when she come by the house has a smile that makes him look like he wants to eat you. And he only does it when she comes by. Cassidy is a class act when it come to the needs of animals her dog had a limp nothing extremely noticeable just a small limp did some dragging his toes. She took it to the vet and of course it has a torn acl. And it need surgery she was working a minimum wage job after school the surgery was a fair amount of money. Like 2000.00 dollars we look for other options. Texas A an M wanted 6000.00 she did some research and found a great Vet to do it for 2000.00 well she didn’t have that kind of money but she was not giving up. She came to me and as a Grandmother you always want to help so I told her I would help. But we need to find a way to raise the money someone said go fund me so she set that up and started her own candy and flower business the stars lined up because it was around valentines. She still went to work and school and made flowers and candy to sale after school and work. with a little help from the family she work long and hard and raised almost enough money for the whole thing. Go fund me didn’t do much 165.00 but it all helped. She is an amazing young woman. And when it comes to animals she can’t let them down. She has proclaimed since she was preteen. That one day she would be a veterinarian. An now she’s on her way to collage with collage credits she acquired in High school. And her one and only goal is Veterinarian. She has sat with all my animals at various times I believe they prefer her over me. She’s pretty good with people too. If you get the chance to meet her your will see she has a special glow.
