I've have 7 years of experience caring for dogs, and own 3 dogs myself. I've had experience caring for dogs with disabilities and older dogs that need to be given medication. In my experience as a dog-sitter, some dogs tend to get a little down when their owners are gone. Well I've found the best way to turn that pups frown upside down, is a nice game of catch, long walks, belly rubs, free running in the large fenced backyard, and even play time with other dogs! For "Doggy Day Care" I prefer caring for no more than 3 dogs at a time, but I will care for up to 4 dogs max. As for my in home "Dog Boading" I prefer to limit the number of dogs to 2 because I want your dog getting the best care and attention possible. However I will make an exception of a 3rd dog max if all three dogs are together (same owner/family.)
