Best stay for your best friend!

Pet care experience

Hi there! my name is Cassaundra and I am a 26 year old student. I have owned dogs, cats, exotic pets, farm animals etc. my whole life and am more than capable to watch your pup! As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of finding a trustworthy person and place to leave your loved one while away. I can assure you that I would take care of your pet the way that i take care of mine! For example, I feed my dog the best kibble and raw diet, make her food, shampoo, treats etc. and make sure that she stays healthy and active. I am very conscious of what she eats/plays with/is surrounded by to ensure that she is the healthiest she can be. She is also very well trained and extremely obedient. I used several methods to find the best way to train her for not every dog is the same. She is not just my pet, she is my best friend. I have also been a professional dog walker to several celebrity clientele (dogs pictured) and have watched their pets for long overnight stays in their private homes. We developed deep trusting relationships because I provided great care for their pets. Owning pet and caring for pets requires patience, understanding, and kindness. Your pet will have a wonderful stay with my dog (shark attack) and I! ***** please read "sitting style" section before sending requests****

Cassaundra is a true professional with pets! She takes amazing care of my dog and when I return home from a trip, my pup seems delighted and happy from her time spent with Cassie. Also, she sends plenty of photo updates and is a clear communicator. I would recommend her every time.

I contacted Cassaundra through a friend to pet sit for my dog Tofu. Cassaundra could was loving, attentive, and caring toward Tofu. I could not think of a better person to entrust my dog, or any animal with, than Cassaundra.

Cass took amazing care of my Tofalina and kept me in the loop the whole stay. This made me feel so comfortable knowing that my baby was well cared for. She communicated with me multiple times a day through texts and pictures during the stay. Tofalina loved her and I did too, I will definitely will be using cass again!

Cassaundra was AWESOME! She was able to take care of my puppy on short notice. My pup got sick unexpectedly the night before she was scheduled to stay with Cassaundra. I had to bring her to the emergency pet hospital and I was nervous about leaving for vacation. Cassaundra took great care of my pup, Nala. She kept her on a strict diet and gave her meds. I got updates with pictures and when I returned, Nala was in good health and she was happy!

Hazel and beamer- penthouse dogs that required very spacial care. Beamer, a senior standard schnauzer was very slow, and required a lot of patience. I fed her and gave her medications daily. Her housemate hazel, was on a special diet for a medical condition that also required medication once daily. Both were walked twice a day to central park. Libby- libby is Hazel's littermate and belongs to hazel and beamer's mother's daughter. Libby was a young pup who was very easy to care for. Walked twice a day and fed when needed. Lady and Bandit- penthouse border collies who needed TONS of exercise. Each morning at 7am I would take them to central park for the "off leash" hours. They were fed by me every day twice a day, had a very special and specific diet, I would give them their daily vitamins, groom them, take them to the vet, and help with training. Molly- aka Momo. Momo is a rescue dog from a breeding shelter. She was used for breeding purposes only and kept in a tiny cage her whole life. I have helped her owner rehabilitate her, find a diet to suit her (tons of allergy and medical problems). She requires special medicated baths every week, medication, and a special diet. She is still very nervous therefore I am very calm, and gentle with her to ensure she is the most comfortable. Appa- a new member! momo is Appa's sister. Appa was rescued from a kill shelter in North Carolina. He is three months old and I am currently helping the owner train him, and find a diet thats best for him. As you can see, i work within families on several occasions and have received many recommendations from my clients. The dogs listed above are the ones I care for/have cared for the most but I do have other dogs that I watch frequently as well.

A typical day

My sitting "style" varies from dog to dog for not every dog is the same. I have a large crate if you cannot provide your own. We have an extra room where your dog can sleep or they can sleep in our room with us-again this all depends on what you and your pet are most comfortable with. Our neighborhood is very nice and quiet and i take my dog for walks around the neighborhood on the regular. Either myself or my partner Bret will always be home because our class/work schedules are the complete opposite so someone will always be around to hang with you pup. ** If your dog does not do well with others (my dog will always be around) then it its best that they stay in the crate if by chance myself or bret will be out of the house. Or, if they are not destructive, they can be free in the guest room-its quite large. You must provide your own dog food and bowls. Honesty is a must! If I am well informed of your dogs characteristics, good or bad, then I am better equipped to handle them. If your dog is a biter and you do not inform me of such, your dog will not continue to stay with me and will be returned to you immediately. I have been bitten by dogs due to owners withholding information and I cannot and will not tolerate an aggressive dog. If your dog is not house broken, inform me of such. House broken does not includ weewee pad trained. If your dog is weewee pad trained, that is fine as long as you inform me of such and provide your own pads. If your dog has anxiety issues, again inform me so I can be prepared. Your dogs stay is only as pleasant as you allow it to be. If you withhold important information, I cannot prepare myself to deal with certain situations and this not only causes me stress but, it causes your dog stress as well. My goal is to make sure your dog is SAFE and happy while they are in my care and I need your help to ensure that.
