Pet care experience

I know leaving your pups with someone be can be a really stressful time-feel free to ask me anything you need. I promise I understand-your babies are important and so is your ease of mind.

Cassie was a wonderful pet sitter for us over the Christmas holiday. We are thankful for the care she gave our highly medicated, elderly cat. Her communication was superb.

Safety, trust & environment

I have two pups and two ferrets of my own. Tony is my 3 year old golden retriever and Remus is my 2.5 year old American cocker spaniel. Both are neutered males and very social with other dogs and cats (and ferrets).

Information Cassandra S. would like to know about your pet

The most important information I need is whether or not your baby does well with other animals and whether or not he or she is neutered or spayed. Allergies are the next most important. Any warning on behaviors is also appreciated. If you have a cat that runs out doors or a dog that sounds scary when playing but is harmless, or food aggression are all good examples of behaviors a warning would be awesome on.

A typical day

A typical day is wake up, walk, breakfast, walk again (we don’t like accidents ?) and then I let the pups play. During the middle of the day I do have regular walks so the pups will rest. In the afternoon I usually take them on a bigger walk to play or swim or play fetch. Then it’s back in for a rest and dinner and I’m for the evening!

I’ve loved animals my entire life, but it took three years of being a CNA to know working with them is what I’m supposed to do. While I loved my human patients, my heart belongs to critters ❤️🐾 After leaving the hospital, I started work in a vet clinic in Corinth where I then decided to head to MSU to get a degree in Wildlife. Since then I’ve been working and growing as a pet sitter and I ADORE my job. I’ve also been lucky enough to find a vet clinic in Starkville to work at so I can still be in the clinic setting.
