Traveling? Doggos Welcome Here!

Pet care experience

Hello! My husband and I both grew up with dogs and one of my first jobs was taking care of my neighbor's dogs when they were out of town. Now, we are proud dog parents of an older puggle and a 9 month old cavapoo who both love to snuggle. We also watch our friends' dogs (ranging from mini poodles to Bernese Mountain Dogs) whenever we can. We did Rover last summer while I studied for the bar and we (and our dog) thoroughly enjoyed having extra dog friends around. While we are no longer home all day during the workweeks, we generally are home earlier on Fridays and stick close to home on the weekends so you can be sure your dog will get plenty of attention, love and snuggles! Rover is a perfect match for extra furry company. You can be sure your pup will get lots of snuggles and attention from us, especially our 13 year old daughter! We are happy to host your dog while you travel for work, or simply provide a break if you are working late or want to fit in a happy hour before heading home. Other things to note: - Our boarding fee covers your dog for 24 hours of stay per Rover guidelines, which includes insurance and access to veterinary care. If checkout time needs to be later than a 24 Hour period (example: drop off in early morning but pick up is late evening) we reserve the right to add a modified daycare rate to the booking depending on your pick up time. That being said, we can be flexible on the times and work with you to make it convenient. -We are always happy to a meet and greet, just let me know if you are interested in your request! -We love and are open to hosting larger breeds, so long as they get along with our pups. -Unless there is a rare short overlap, we will only host one dog at a time so your pup will have plenty of one-on-one time. -We love longer stays! It always takes a day or two for a pup to feel fully at home, and we find some of the best Rover experiences we've had have been with longer stays. That said, we are happy to do shorter stays, especially if your pup has stayed with us before!

Kenna had a nice time with Cassie and her family. There were a couple of doggy friends to keep her entertained. This turned out to be a good vacation for her as well.

Cassandra was an awesome host for our Border Collie, meg. A huge fenced in backyard and a comfy house were a great fit for our dog. Cassandra sent photos each day. I will definitely go back to her next time we are out of town.

Another great experience. Cassie and Finn have such a warm home. It's nice to feel that my dog also had a vacation.

Bluebell had another fun stay at Cassandra’s house! She got to snuggle and play with Sebastian.

Information Cassandra M. would like to know about your pet

We would like to know how they are with other dogs, as we have two. Our oldest keeps to himself but our youngest likes to play. Knowing their favorite treats and toys, their particular walk schedule, eating times, commands, night time routines and anything else that will make their stay comfortable would be helpful! For boarding customers, we do crate our dog when we leave the house and would be most comfortable if your dog is ok with that. While they might be perfectly behaved at your home, new places can make a pup anxious and act out, and we want to make sure everyone is safe and secure if we have to be away for a few hours. We do have an extra large crate so you don’t have to bring yours!

A typical day

We have a huge fenced in back yard that is perfect for fetch, running around or relaxing! We spend a lot of time outside, so your pup will too! We are happy to provide as many walks as your pup is used to, although our dogs are usually content with just one a day. Couch snuggles are also a part of our daily routine!
