As a dog walker, I will walk the little ones as I my own. Make the walks fun by singing and playing so that they don’t get bored with their time. And make sure that have water after their walk. It’s very important for dogs to stay hydrated as well. If they are allowed treats, I can certainly handle giving those out too. On my drop ins, I can also do some of the same talking with them and even play and love on them and snuggle so they are not so lonely. It’s very important to me that all dogs be shown as much love and care as I have always shown mine. I have no problems cleaning up messes if I am checking in on new ones either. That comes with the territory!
