I strive to treat you and your fur-babies exactly how I would want my own to be cared for. I go the extra mile to communicate with you as much as I can about our session so that you have peace of mind that he/she has had good exercise and care. I give my undivided attention to your fur-babies during each session - I am aware of their personalities/behaviors along with any other animals around us. I am happy to walk in rain or shine and do my best to care for them appropriately (if it rains, I dry them off / if it's a hot day, I always carry water for them). I have had pets of all sorts my entire childhood (rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, turtles, fish, dogs, and cats). As an adult I have my own pets that I care for: 3 dogs and 1 cat (all rescued). I am familiar with handling anxious, fearful, and reactive dogs. I have watched hours of training videos to train my own adopted dog, and am confident that I understand dogs' behavior much better. On the side I also help out in the dog rescue world. I have worked to bring over 50 rescued dogs from the China meat trade legally into the USA to find their forever homes. I volunteer with a Colorado rescue as well, helping with the back end of things. Lastly, I help people locally to network their pets when I see them in the social media groups.

Cassandra did a great job watching our three pups! They were happy and well taken care of while we were away for a weekend. We really appreciated the updates and photos of our fur babies as well which gave us total peace of mind. Cassandra was fantastic and we hope to book her again for our upcoming trips!
Excellent experience with Cassandra. I would concur with much of the praises she’s received from other reviewers. She’s prompt and detailed with her communication. She’s adaptive to changes for some minor unforeseen circumstances during her care of my pets (1 dog, 3 cats). She takes ownership of caring for my dog giving him extra attention above and beyond my request. Best way to summarize is I would definitely look for her again to help me with my pets in the future. She’s a 5 star without question.
Cassandra has been taking care of my 15 year old Golden Retriever at least thrice weekly for over three months now. She saved the day after I had….not so great service from a well-known local company. I could write a book about how much we love and trust Cassandra, but I’ll try to be brief: 1. She is 100% reliable & trustworthy 2. She will always greet your dog or cat with love & enthusiasm, conversation & pats 3. She will never spend less time than scheduled (likely more) 4. She is flexible and can help at odd hours, last minute, in a pinch 5. She is experienced and capable with disabled and older animals Moving to the island by myself, with only my aging BFF in tow, it’s been difficult to find someone I can trust to help us when we need it. Cassandra helps my lil old lady get up and outside for a potty break the days I’m working. Or even days I might be playing tourist or tour guide and out for most of the day— she’s always there to make sure things are taken care of. Cassandra has helped on multiple occasions — late weekend nights, very early mornings, “off” days, coming twice in one day….many last minute requests that are always taken with a smile. She has handled medications, physical limitations, and senior citizen stubbornness like a pro. I truly cannot recommend Cassandra enough. The love she gives my girl & the peace of mind she gives me? Priceless. If you’d like to speak with me about it, have her pass me your number. I don’t trust lightly; I don’t say any of these things lightly. I’ll do what I can so Aunty keeps coming over and showering my best gal with love and attention.
These words come to mind when I think of our wonderful dog walker, Cassandra: caring, reliable, grateful, kind, LOVE. Reliability is key when you need someone to be there for your pet when you can't be. Cassandra is there when she says she will be. She lets you know in advance if she needs to coordinate a different day or time. She anticipates holidays even before I do, working with me to re-schedule if needed. I receive texts each time to let me know how the walk went...did she poo? did she take in the sun? did she get some exercise? She sends me beautiful photos of our Betty taken among the flowers and greenery. Through one of the texts, I could read Cassandra's excitement about finding Betty's favorite spot! She is committed to providing the loving attention she gives her own pets. No pet could ever want a better caregiver.

I am offering to care for pets in my client's home, or take them out for walks/hikes/beach/etc. I am able to administer medicine if needed, clean any accidents, feed, play with, take to the part for running, give baths, etc. I am reliable, caring, honest, and confident handling most animals. I only ask that if your dog weighs more than 50 lbs, that he/she is trained and well behaved on the leash. Thank you!

Any type of info to help me better know your pets is great. What do they like, what sets them off, are they anxious/fearful/reactive, any health issues, anything you prefer me to do that is specific for each pet, etc.
A typical day
Depending on the time of day, I am open to taking dogs to the park, hike, or beach! If they require a bath I would be happy to do so as well. Otherwise, we will most likely walk in the area for "x" amount of time.

Currently I don't have a job (since covid) and would love to spend time locally helping to care for paws of any sort. My schedule is flexible and I'm pretty available as long as I know ahead of time. Last minute requests are always welcome if I'm free!
