Hi there! I’m Cassandra, I am 21 years old and I have 2 years and about 6 months of experience with boarding, walking, and grooming small to medium size dogs. I currently work in a all dog boarding facility called camp bow wow in Albany; Where i am positioned as part time dog care attendant, operations team lead and, A night shift closer. I’ve been working here for 2 years now and this is where I’ve gained most my relevant knowledge about dogs. I am a animal science student at SUNY Cobleskill (aspiring veterinarian) where I also learn a great deal about various animals. I am different compared to other walkers because I am genuinely passionate about giving you and your dog the best possible care experience regardless of if I receive payment or not. I’m aiming towards using rover as a side job in order to try and save up for more money for college, So trust me when i say I will do my very best to make your experience worthwhile!

What makes Cassandra special? Well there’s a lot. Cassandra is a hard working college student studying animal science but sometimes it feels as if she’s more knowledgeable than the professors themselves. Cassie has an innate love and understanding of animals and nature. She’s known everything about animals since she was like 10 years old, she was the only kid in the world who would rather watch Nat Geo Wild than cartoons. Not only is she booksmart but she has experience handling any kind of animal, as she grew up with not only common pets but exotic ones too! Lastly she sure knows how to control a pack, as she wrangles big and small pups all day at her doggy day care job :)
Cassandra is my daughter, and she aspires to be a veterinarian when she graduates college. Cassandra is willing to gain experience with animals any which way she can and I believe that is what will make her special to the rover company.
Cassandra is my daughter; She is very passionate about working with animals and caring pet parents a like, and has been since she was a child. Cassandra is special because she doesn’t care just about her paycheck, she genuinely cares about making pets happy and putting a smile on pet parents faces!

If your dog(s) is socially acceptable of being around other dogs as I may be walking more than one dog at a time. If your dog(s) is higher or lower energy, this will give me an idea of the best way to exercise your dog on a walk.
