Let em play while you vacay! :)

Pet care experience

LARGE FENCED YARD, PET FRIENDLY HOUSE, HAPPY PUPPY DOGS :) I do have a long description and will gladly answer any questions you have because I know how important it is to be informed and comfortable about your baby staying somewhere new while you are away. I do believe rover is a great option when it comes to dog boarding because kenneling is a lot less socialization and attention in my opinion. I had used a kennel in the past when I had to go out of town and I stayed worried about my babies because they do not give the option of regular updates or pictures and it was just business. They were only let out of a kennel twice a day and that’s it. When I found out about rover I thought it was wonderful! I have used rover and I was very satisfied with my dogs stay and I knew they had a good time thanks to the family who kept my dogs. It is a great feeling to know they are around people who care and other dogs to keep them entertained. I have dog sat outside of this app for neighbors and friends before I had a house with a fenced yard and before I joined Rover. I would love to take care of your fur baby! I have 2 cats and 3 young dogs! A Male German Shepard, a female German Shepherd and Labraheeler! My babies are very social and love to play and have fun. We have a nice pet friendly house with a large fenced back yard. Our house is on a cul-de-sac and from what we can tell one of biggest in the neighborhood. It is odd shaped and goes back really far which is excellent for fetch and running around :) I will constantly supervise the play time to ensure safety for yours and mine. I'm very active so I would love to take your pet on walks or runs. I'm very particular on hydration and always have water available. Especially in the hot summer months. The gravity watering bowls have become my best friend because these dogs know how to put down some water :) If you are worried about your dog and cats I can assure you that the cats and your dog will be fine. Sometimes I don't even think the dogs that come over have noticed the cats because my babies keep them occupied and we have lots of toys for them to play with. The cats are very independent and do not care much for the dogs they will bow up if they get surprised but other than that they tend to mind their own business and sit up high to watch the dogs or gaze from their cat perch. They are curious about the dogs and will check them out and sneak in a few sniffs when the dogs go to bed though :) I also personally trim the sharp hooks of the cats claws off weekly to avoid any accidents if they get surprised when a new dog runs up to them but we have not had that problem occur because they are good at hiding when they don't want to be bothered ha. Sometimes the cats will get under the couch and paw at them to play and the dogs have loved that, very entertaining :) My dogs have showed great characterstics for playing with dogs of all sizes. All dogs have different personalities and behaviors. My German Shepard Apollo is a big baby and a momma's boy. My lab/blue heeler mix Koon is more independent and mature I don't like to admit it but I think he is more of a daddy's boy. Luna is still a puppy and working on her socialization and training. I would say so far it takes about 10 minutes or so for the new dog feeling of the dogs I have come over to wear off. As soon as they get their smells and barks in and let the new situation come to an ease everything has went great! If you have an intact male outside of the puppy phase there may be a few problems due to the fact that mine are also intact. I prefer neutered males. Also my dogs are taken to the vet for their regular appointments and stay up to date on their shots and vaccinations. Koon, Apollo and Luna are on Bravecto for fleas/ticks prevention and Interceptor Plus for heartworm/worm prevention. Dogs sleep and eat inside and can have separation time for eating and sleeping. Weekends and holidays I also spend a lot of time at home so I have good availability. I am a clean and organized person to the best of my ability. So far in my experience in animal care I have not come across anything that will turn me away or disgust me beyond measure. I do not get grossed out easily. I do regular poop scooping to ensure that the yard is clean and your dogs and mine aren't wallowing around in dog mess. If an accident happens from either end of the dog on the inside of the house I will not scold your dogs, sometimes in a new environment accidents happen when they don't know their way around. Thats why I keep a gallon of Nature's Miracle around :) We have experienced a lot of wet weather lately and I have no problem with complimentarily bathing your dog before pick up. Sometimes I will take puppy wipes and a rag just to do some spot cleaning if the rain slacks off and mud is not an issue. I will send pictures and videos of your pet as much as requested! If you are ever missing them and want a video or some pictures I will try to help ease the separation anxiety for both of you as much as I can :) I would love to do a meet and greet as well if you are new to this and have mixed feelings. I can show you around the house, we can walk around the backyard and we can talk about your dog's typical behaviors and habits. I love to ensure the owner and pet are both comfortable. My dogs get excited about new friends coming over and we can ensure compatibility before you're stay.

Cassandra, who kept our dog for a week, could not have been nicer to us or our dog. The fact that she has 3 dogs of her own really helps because our dog played the entire time he stayed with her. I will use her again and highly recommend her to others!!

This was my first time leaving Tess with a non family member! I was a little nervous but Cassandra sent me updates and pics throughout the weekend and when I arrived to pick Tess up, I don’t think she was ready to leave! I was able to have a fun weekend knowing that she was in great hands and having fun too!

Nala had a great stay. Cassandra is very quick to reply and sent me several updates during my pups visit. I can tell Nala had a great time. I would not hesitate to recommend nor to use Cassandra again. My travel plans were kind of fluid and Cassandra was gracious enough to allow me that flexibility in dropping Nala off earlier than what I had planned. I was very hesitant to use Rover and leave my pup with a stranger. After giving this a try, I know Nala was better cared for than she has been when I've had to board her in the past.
