Pet care experience
I have two cats, Jared and Teaguen. I’ve owned a pet, or lived with someone who has a pet all my life. I sincerely respect all creatures, great & small, and find spending time with animals very very soothing. My first two cats, as a kid, were Snowy and Taco. There are only a few relaxing things better than a great movie and a cat on my lap. I love the beach with a dog, playing “catch,” or just cruising along the sand on Dog Beach in Cayucos.

Cassandra was amazing! My Sadie was comfortable with her and her house right away! You can tell that she loves dogs and while she is sitting, your pet is her priority. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with her for 3 days and would book with her again next time. Thank you Cassandra!
We moved to San Luis Obispo from Seattle and lost our dog sitter who would weekly walk and occasionally board our little dog Poko.We looked around San Luis Obispo and reviewed many dog sitters on Rover until we found Cassandra. We trusted Cassandra as we met her and decided to try her out. The first time we left Poko with Cassandra was for 10 days. Every day we got a text with an update on his status. Some texts included photos of amazing walks by the ocean or Poko just lying around in bed. Cassandra would even take Poko to work with her so he was not alone all day. We have used Cassandra twice since and know that our Poko will be in trusted hands. Thanks Rover and Cassandra.

More than two dogs can be a bit much, unless they’re small and-or used to each other. I’ve also cared for birds, iguanas, fish and rabbits.
A typical day
I love the beach, and taking walks around the neighborhood. I could play fetch all day!! I enjoy grooming cats and dogs, and simply making them feel loved and cared for.

Availability
Currently, I wait tables, and operate my fitness business out of my home, writing programs, and leading fitness classes, like weight lifting and indoor cycling, via Facebook, Zoom and YouTube. I can always check in on pets in the am, and at the end of the day. I take care of primarily dogs and cats.
