I have experience caring for a miniature dachshund, a miniature poodle, and a boxer/shar pei mix. All three of these dogs have wily streaks, and especially with the boxer/shar pei I learned a lot about caring for a dog that needed a lot of discipline and training. He was a big excitable puppy who we rescued after his previous owner neglected him. Watching that dog grow from an angry pup to a sweet guard dog for my baby was a life-changing experience. I feel a strong connection with all animals, and while my current living situation does not allow me to have a dog, I adore them.
