After confronting a fear of dogs at an early age, my love and excitement for them continue to grow. While I was raised with cats my whole life, I never met a dog I didn't like and always made it a goal to one day own a Corgi named "Waffles." My intention is to turn my responsibility and knowledge for dogs that I will learn through Rover into fostering before owning one of my own. By starting here on Rover, I'd like to gain insight from dog-owners old and new for some extra tips about dog care. For the past two years, I've made friends with all the dogs that come into our flexible office space ranging from an 11 lb Chihuahua to a much larger Mastiff in one office to a Catahoula and a Hound in another. A best friend of mine whose Great Dane, Marnie, is over 150 lbs and the most gentle giant in the Green Mountains continues to solidify my intention of having a fluffy friend of my own. We also had a few friends in college that fostered dogs, giving me a glance of what that entails (pardon the pun, that tends to happen!)
