I love all animals big and small. I grew up helping my parents care for injured animals of all kinds (kittens, puppies, parrots). This passion for helping others carried over into my professional career when I became a firefighter and EMT for the City of Charleston. Through the fire department, I was able to be a part of the Charleston Animal Society Calendar and helped raise thousands of dollars to keep the shelter a no-kill shelter. I have recently moved to Arizona and hopefully to involved with the local shelters to help injured and abandoned animals. From childhood to now dogs have always been a part of my family, from a pomeranian up to Irish Wolfhound. I think a family is not complete without a dog :) My "baby" now is a 3-year-old Great Dane, the biggest lap dog you will ever meet.
