Pet care experience
Dog energy is infectious! I've been dog-sitting for friends for years and I love it. I rate myself as 10/10 for amateur dog photography/group selfies. I'm self-employed so my hours are flexible and I work from home (downtown Pittsburgh) or at my office (Wexford). Why not spend my leftover energy playing with fluffy animals? I try to entertain dogs by doing what they like to do or what they're used to doing until they're used to me. Then we can go off on adventures to a trail or dog park or to the groomer's for mani/pedis. I'm also ideal for older dogs who just need company, too, because I can work from home/remotely. I have 2 feline roommates (Benny & the Jets) and I prefer not to bring dogs to my house (they try to eat my cats). Therefore, it's best I'd pick your dog up at your house or play with him/her there. I'm also fine picking up dogs at a kennel, daycare, etc. for clients who travel with work. I've found this is really helpful when a kennel is closing and a client's flight is delayed. My "special skills" include being responsible and reliable, talking in a high pitch voice while playing with your pet, and I may even paint a dog portrait or two (see pics).

Casey took amazing care of our older, stubborn, kinda set in his ways canine family member. She went above and beyond in looking after him. She was responsive, responsible, caring, and communicative. We returned to a spotless house and a happy healthy dog.
Casey kept us updated about Koda the entire time we were gone and sent multiple photos! She was very responsive and took good care of our girl the entire time we were gone.
Casey has an instinct when it comes to dogs! I really appreciate how she plays with my Shepherd Ripley - especially hide and seek. Ripley loves it! Casey knows that Ripley doesn't care for really small dogs so she takes Ripley to play with dogs her size. This is important for socializing skills. I've tried kennels but I don't know what I'd without Casey's love for Ripley and her well-being. Thanks so much Casey! You're the best.
Casey is a dog lover! She will spoil your pooch and make him feel special. Plus, if you are lucky, she will paint a portrait of your dog.

A typical day
I'll walk dogs wherever they are comfortable and safe--> I've noticed some puppies haven't learned the difference between sidewalks and roads, so we'd go on a local trail or to a dog park until they're runway ready.. or at least sidewalk safe.
