Pet care experience
Growing up, I was never allowed to have a dog. Now that I’m older I look for any opportunity to spend time with some four legged friends. I’m a recent cat mom and frequent cat sitter. I have lots of experience taking care of dogs as well including some that need a little extra love because of different medical conditions (i e. Providing medication). I’m available mostly on the weekends but am open to weekday sitting as well. When I’m not pet sitting, I am a GIS Analyst (I make maps!)

Casey took great care of our little guy and the house was perfect when we got home! She is always at the top of our sitter list!
Casey was responsive, sent lots of pictures and took great care of our little guy. Logan ended up with an injury that we were hopeful would be healed/stitches out/no cone by the time we left town - but unfortunately that didn't happen. Casey was flexible and willing to take the job even with the added complexity of his injury and medications. Really appreciate all she did to let us take our trip as planned!
Casey did a great job checking in on my cat while I was gone, not just feeding him but also making sure he was getting active! Also appreciated the photos and the timely communication!
Casey has taken care of Truffles the cat three times and always takes care of her! She send me updates and photos too.

Medical needs and energy level. Any kind of training you're still working on and/or bad habits we are trying to deter. Also, if they do well with other dogs -- should I take them to the dog park? Keep them on a short leash when walking?
A typical day
Wake up early and take the pup on a nice stroll through Malcom X park or Kalorama Park, maybe a visit to the dog park at Walter Pierce followed my a relaxing morning. An afternoon trot around the neighborhood followed by afternoon naps and then another stroll before dinner.

I'm available for check ins, walks and house sitting. I'm currently working remotely so I have a good amount of flexibility. Let me know if you're ok with me bringing a laptop and hanging out with your pet while I do some work :)
