Pet care experience
Hello, I graduated college in spring of 2021 and spent the following months hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I’m finishing out my gap year as a waitress at Boat Yard, saving for school. My last 2 years of undergrad I cared for my family dog Louie. He passed right before my hike at the age of 14. Over the last few months Louie made me an expert at giving medication. I can handle any injections, eye drops, or pills your pet may need. I worked for an animal ophthalmologist so I have experience with all types of behaviors both cat and dog. I try to stay active and spend time in nature so I’d love a walking buddy. It’s one of the things I miss most about having a dog. Despite missing the active nature of dogs, louie gave me a soft spot for the older pups. Im happy to follow any extra care or accommodations your pet might need.

Casey is great. She watched our dog Maxine and stayed in our home during the holidays. She was very flexible and helpful when our travel plans had to be re-arranged. She sent us great pics and it looked like Max was having loads of fun out and about while we were gone. We would wholeheartedly recommend Casey and we’ll for sure be calling her again in the future.
Casey was wonderful. She was extremely attentive and caring to our dogs! We can’t wait to have her back again!

A typical day
Given I just returned form a 2,600 mile hike, I’d say I love walks just as much as your dog. I value time in nature so if possible I’d love to make your pup my hiking buddy. For the truly hyper pups I enjoy a run in the morning and walk in evening. I always send pictures to owners to check in. In the evenings I typically like to just hangout and watch movies.

Availability
As a waitress I only work 4 days a week for about 5-6 hours at a time. Besides weekends I primarily work 5-10 PM so my mornings a typically free. My schedule is extremely flexible.
