Hi there! I'm Casey, a professional dog lover with years of experience and higher education concerning dogs. Plus, I have been a "dog mom" since I was 3 years old! I genuinely love all dogs as my own, regardless of breed or age. I have worked as a professional animal handler for 2 years, have been a shelter dog walker for 5 years, am a research assistant in a Dog Cognition Lab at Barnard, and am a writer for BarkBox. As you can see, I really love dogs! I love learning about dogs and their behavior. In college I took many animal behavior classes and continue to learn while assisting in Dog Cognition research with Dr. Horowitz - the leader expert of this field.
