Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner my entire life! I have had dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, lizards, frogs, hermit crabs, birds, and snakes as personal pets and animals are my passion! I own my own business as a hairstylist and frequently have a lot of down time of week days. Unfortunately, I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved 16 year old cattle dog due to cancer and find myself a crazy dog mom without a pup of my own to care for. I have a lot of love to give and would love to help you spoil your pet! I have volunteered at animal shelters as a dog walker, and I am an amateur animal trainer. I have experience in positive reinforcement training and would love to help you and your dog learn to communicate together by working on tricks/obedience while on our walks!

A typical day
I love to let your pup take the lead (within reason and safely) so they can choose to sniff as much as they want to help engage their brains so they are nice and relaxed when we get back home. I'll happily bring a favorite toy on walks to sneak in some play time or bring treats to work on favorite behaviors. I love making everything into a fun game for your pup!

Availability
As a business owner and hairstylist my schedule is very flexible and I have a lot of time off on weekdays when a lot of people are stuck at work. I'm almost always available all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on other weekdays I don't go in to the studio until 10 at the earliest and frequently have down time between clients.
