No bark is too loud!
Pet care experience
I have never been annoyed by a barking dog. Dogs bark for good reason. Fear, warning, attention, injury, or excitement are various reasons and all should be listened to. I listen and address the reason for the chatter. I have fostered dogs and cats with a local rescue and have assisted The Fence Project in yard clean-up and fundraising. One of the saddest things is a lonely animal and that won’t happen in my presence. Not only do I love animals I have great compassion for them. I have stairs that can be a hurdle for dogs with mobility problems and will only sit for them in the owners' home because of that. I will keep the fee for dogs experiencing mobility issues at $30 per day ( the same as able-bodied dogs that come to my home.)
Reviews
Cassandra was great! Excellent communication, flexible, and sent pictures every day. Her love for dogs is apparent. We’d definitely use her again!
Casandra was wonderful! It was my first time using Rover and I couldn't have had a better experience. She took such great care of my little furry one while I was away. I will definitely go to her again and I highly recommend:)
Casandra is the best with our babies. Always sending photos and videos. Both of our dogs are worn out when they come home from all the playing and excitement. Highly recommend her.
Nobody else who we would want to watch our dogs. Both of our dogs love going to be with her and we always feel that they are safe and well cared for with her.

My home is not a shrine so come and enjoy being a dog. Lay in the sun, cuddle on the couch, play "catch me if you can with other dogs" play fetch with me or try to catch the water spray from the hose. I have a child's plastic pool, a place for them to dig, plus many toys and treat options. Whenever I have multiple dogs boarding, I NEVER leave my home and they are constantly supervised to ensure the safety of all. I am in the yard or house with them at all times. The dogs are also kept separated during all feedings. I also require meet and greets before accepting any booking so that the pet owner, the dog, and I are all happy with the choice. I often have multiple dogs so keep that in mind, if your pooch doesn't like engaging with other dogs this may not be a good option for them. I require all dogs to receive monthly flea and tick prevention treatments. Please consider having your dog vaccinated for kennel cough prior to their visit, as there is not a screening process available that pet sitters or kennels can provide, to ensure dogs do not have it prior to coming into the home or facility. I steam mop, vacuum, launder bedding and sheets covering the furniture, as well as wash toys and pet bowls regularly. Drinking water is also changed frequently.

Information Casandra L. would like to know about your pet
Please advise me of any special needs. Is there any aggression toward people or other animals. Are there things your dog may be fearful of? Is your dog comfortable walking with a leash, riding in cars, being alone for short periods of time, if they are the only dog I am watching, I may do some of these things. PLEASE tell me if your dog has separation anxiety, it is so important to know this as they can get upset if I go into the front yard and try to exit a window, (if open) and in those cases I close all windows and be as quick as possible. It would be great if you enter their food and or medication amounts, your secret words for potty, sit and stay, what they hate (such as riding in cars) are fearful of (storms, fireworks, etc.) into the Rover app for myself and any future Rover sitters. The more we know the better your dog's visit will be.
A typical day
Getting out in the neighborhood with a canine companion is great fun and something I look forward to when possible. There is a neighborhood park where many people and dogs gather to enjoy the day. If your dog enjoys playing fetch, I will have their tail wagging for sure. If they want to follow me from room to room, that is also allowed and sometimes I just walk several times around the table and lo and behold, it makes them happy. Dogs are funny that way. We sometimes watch YouTube videos for dogs, play sit for your treat, play in the hose, or I give them incredible hind end and belly rubs.

I am retired. My schedule is flexible and when I take care of someone’s pet, the pet receives my full attention. I won’t book a service unless I am able to guarantee your pet is my priority. My schedule allows me to offer many potty breaks which is perfect for elderly dogs and especially puppies learning the ropes.
