Pet care experience
I enjoy long walks on the beach...or at the park...or anywhere, really! I'll come over and let your dog (or cat, ferret, bunny, lizard...) stretch their legs, get some fresh air, and get some quality time with a person. I love dogs, but cannot have one of my own due to living in a rental. I'm a dependable, licensed therapist who needs some stress relief and an excuse to exercise, so let me play with your pups! I've been pet-sitting in the DC/MD area, as well as Portland, OR for over a decade. I've sat for several cats, and have training on how to administer insulin if your feline requires it. I've sat for a handful of fish and two reptiles, and am a quick learner and love those guys too.

Caryn was fantastic! I have three dogs and she handled the responsibility like a breeze. She kept me up-to-date with the dogs' routines, gave them their meds, and let me know when/if she had any concerns about medical issues. I have two elderly dogs that require keeping a close eye for changes and Caryn was excellent at being an eagle eye.
Pup was so happy and house was spotless!

Because I work from home, when I sit for people I'm able to really just stay put and be a homebody with the pets, so if they have separation anxiety I'm a good fit. I give lots of pets and cuddles and will have full-on conversations with them. Because my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my 50min therapy appointments I am able to accommodate your pet's schedule for eating and walking.

I would love to meet all dogs to see how we get along and what their routine is. I do not have any breed restrictions, but I hope you would let me know if the dog has a history of aggression so we can collaborate to keep her feeling safe.
A typical day
I can stay in neighborhood or take a nice long walk to a park or a hike, depending on the day. I have a car with washable seat covers and love driving.

Availability
I'm available for drop-ins and walks in Eugene only and overnight stays in Eugene and surrounding areas, including Portland, Bend, and the coast. I work from home and have between 2-5 50min sessions a day but am completely available to your pet outside of that.
