I am a certified professional dog trainer with a degree in canine science and over 40 years of experience as well as a life long animal lover. I am home full time, live on a quiet cul-de-sac, and can walk your dog, rather than just turning her/him out in a yard. I also have all sorts of great agility equipment, if your dog is healthy enough. I can work on specific skills and/or manners for your puppy/dog if you are having any issues, and to help improve your bond. I have gentle, well-trained champion, multi-titled performance and therapy dogs of my own that can provide excellent socialization without fear. I can give medications, and in case of emergency am qualified in dog CPR. I LOVE DOGS and I would love to help you with yours.

More than 20 years ago, we were looking to buy a Collie puppy. We did a lots of research about breeders, and settled on Caryln as the best one. Since then, we kept in touch and she has trained several of our dogs. I have never met a person who knows so much about dogs and who is so good at training and taking care of them. We totally trust her, and our dogs adore her. Unlike with putting dog in a kennel, with Caryln as dog sitter, the dog gets lots of personal attention, play, and teaching and training. She is very positive and upbeat, awesome with dogs, and very honest and reliable. When it comes to our dogs, there is no person we trust more than Caryln.
I have known Caryln for over 20 years. My husband and I fully and implicitly trust her honesty, capability, judgment and integrity. Both outside door (back and front) are double doors, meaning a dog must go through 2 closed doors to get out, as all the good dog facilities have. I have gates in place just in case and a multitude of crates. Every dog is different, but I have the vast experience to match my love for dogs.

Please let me know if your furbaby has any special needs or behavioral issues I should know. I am fully able to work with any dog, but it will be infinitely more helpful to know ahead of time if your dog is reactive and prefers a somewhat solitary game of fetch or loves frolicking with other dogs.
A typical day
I live on an acre of land, which contains a full agility set up, as well as complete equipment for obedience, rally, and tricks. I can work on some basic skills and fun tricks if desired and can do more extensive training for an additional fee. I live on a quiet cul-de-sac so can do walks without traffic concerns. Additionally, I have my own extremely well trained dogs who are all very friendly and good with all other dogs. For rainy days or other bad weather, I have loads of puzzle games, chew toys and enough toys to make a pet store jealous. There are plenty of dog beds and dog friendly furniture for napping, but mostly it’s all about the fun.
