My passion for pet care landed me a job at Wimberley Kennel, a boarding and grooming facility where I was promoted to manager. This gave me the opportunity to have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, disabilities, and medical needs. Petsitting is my full-time job; this allows me to give dogs in my care the attention they deserve at all times. My flexible schedule allows for me to provide constant care for those who need it, and meet all my client's needs effectively. I have cared for blind dogs, dogs missing limbs, dogs with behavioral issues and/or bite histories, and dogs with intensive medication regimens - all with gentle, loving care. This includes walking, feeding, administering medications, cleaning, socializing, basic training, and grooming, which I have been certified for. I also both worked and volunteered my own time for Final Frontier - a rescue organization that saves dogs that would be otherwise euthanized due to aggression issues/bite histories due to previous abuse or neglect. This opportunity helped me gain experience in handling and rehabilitating aggressive dogs. After developing personal relationships with clients, I have been hired to walk dogs on a daily basis, care for cats, and house/pet sit for various clients, in addition to working at Big Dog Rescue Project. I am open to working with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. I primarily work with big dogs, but I have experience working with four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes - from retired Police dogs to feral dogs picked up off the side of the highway. I believe my experience and passion for animal care makes me a great canditate to provide loving care for your fur baby, and I am willing to work with you and meticulously follow the prescribed routine for the health and well being of your pet.
