I like dogs more than I like people
Pet care experience
From the time I was 4 years old, I grew up with furry friends. I've shared my life with a Sheltie, a German Shepherd mutt and a Golden, all of which I'm still sure my mother loves more than me. I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I've been able to take care of myself! In fact, perhaps the hardest part about moving up to NYC, for me, was the fact that my new apartment has strict pet rules! When it comes to our furry friends, I believe that all dogs should be pampered when their parents are away, and I'm happy to be the wacky aunt that spoils them. With me they'll get lots of love and both physical and verbal interaction. Sometimes, as an actress, I even like to perform my lines for them. As a fitness instructor and actress, I will take your dogs on fun, energetic, activity-filled walks that will have them nice and tired and ready for a nap once they get home! Overall, I want all dogs under my care to feel comfortable, safe and happy, even when their owners aren't home.

Carter was great! My dog loved her, and she really did a nice job with both him and staying in my apartment. She stayed for almost a full week, and my dog seems to like her more than me now. Highly recommended, I'd book Carter again for anything!
Carter has always had a love of all animals. She is sweet and caring with all dogs, and loves playing with them. I know she will be fabulous as a dog walker and caregiver!
Carter is the BEST!! My dogs just love her!! My dogs just light up when they see her. She is energetic, fun and most importantly honest.

I'd like to know how your pup gets along with other dogs. Do they have any favorite games, tricks or toys? Do they have a favorite park or walking route? Do they prefer walks for exercise, or to stop and sniff the flowers? Do they have a certain language they use to tell you when they're hungry or need to use the bathroom? Are they frightened of anything we may encounter (cats, cars, thunderstorms etc.)? Also, what are their house rules? Are they allowed on furniture? Are certain rooms off limits?
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks through parks and along the river. And growing up with a retriever, there's little I enjoy more than a rousing game of fetch! They'll also get lots of petting and kisses and snuggles, as they will each serve as surrogates for my lovely pup I left behind in Virginia.
