Work From Home Dog Lover!
Pet care experience
We're a couple who loves dogs, but can't commit to ownership due to our travel schedule. We joined Rover because we love having dogs in our life! I work from home and have a flexible schedule that can include walks, bathroom breaks and play time! We both grew up around dogs and have experience having them around full time. We have had dog-guests for over a month at a time. Our apartment is suitable for a small/medium dog. Our complex has several large grassy areas, as well as two fenced dog runs. We're also surrounded by some of LA's nicest parks and most walkable neighborhoods and we're a quick drive away from lots of hiking spots! We can accommodate your preferred feeding and exercise schedule, but would prefer dogs without medication. We're willing to keep an open communication and send photo updates throughout the day! I was looking for someone to watch my fur baby mid-week since I work long hours, and also lead to possible long term stays in the future when I am out of town. Carrin was amazing especially since it was out of my dog's norm to be at a stranger's place. She was able to handle his anxiety and made him feel safe with walks and attention. I picked up a very tired happy pup which is exactly what I was hoping for after a long day. We are happy to find a place he can hang out more often and I don't have to feel rushed to run home. Thank you Carrin!
Carrin was a savior. Our dog doesn't know that she's a dog. She doesn't like other dogs so we can never leave her in a doggy hotel. Carrin took care of her while we were away. I felt like she had better time there than with us! Carrin sent us photos of her walking, playing, and chilling. We highly recommend Carrin for sitting your dog. Just don't book her while we travel. I will send in my travel schedule for next year soonest.
This was the first time I'd left my pup. I found Carrin T. through Rover, and felt like I'd hit the jackpot. I cannot stress how wonderful and trustworthy Carrin is, and how excited I am to know that I have a place I can leave my dog when I go away again. I wouldn't think twice about leaving her anywhere else than in the Carrin's loving home. I should add that my dog can be anxious around strangers, but within a quick two hours, my dog was comfortable with Carrin.
Our baby Toffee loves going to her Auntie Carrin's house whenever we're out of town and sometimes doesn't want to leave. She comes home with stories of long walks, snuggles, playing with toys, and lots of love. highly recommend her!
