Pet care experience
Not only do I love dogs, but my husband and three boys (ages 16, 13 and 11) love dogs. My 13 yr old and I volunteer at the Toledo Area Humane Society. We adopted our dog from the Humane Society only four weeks after starting there. Sadly, in April 2016 our Toby died from a seizure disorder. We treated him like a member of the family. Actually... he got treated BETTER than most of our family members. :-) Your dog will be treated like a king or queen. With 3 boys not much phases me and I am very lenient as to where your dog can play and sleep. We will allow your dog on most furniture. We have a large fenced-in yard. I am a stay-at-home mom so your dog will be supervised most of the day. Your dog must like children (ages 13 and older) because we have three children and there are many neighborhood kids who like to play at our house.

Carrie is absolutely amazing! She sends lots of pictures and videos. She even let our puppy out to potty every hour. Our dogs are like our children and there is no one else I would ever leave them with. ❤️❤️❤️

I would be happy to meet your dog in advance of their stay at my house if that is what you would like. I would prefer no pit bulls or Rottweilers. I do know they are extremely sweet dogs and are really just big babies, but because of the strength and power of the dog breeds, I would prefer not to have them.
A typical day
I will walk dogs in spring, summer and fall, but honestly, I hate the cold so won't walk them in the winter if it is really cold. However, we have a great fenced in yard and lots of dog toys. If your dog likes to play fetch, I'll play with them as long as they like.
