I teach at a charter school for children with autism, so I have learned to become very patient. I take the beliefs of my work into caring for dogs. I think that using ABA therapy with dogs is very effective. I have a dog of my own named Archie, he is 5 months old. We got Archie at 4 months, so we haven't had him very long, but we have already taught him so much. Before I became a dog mom for Archie I would dog sit other dogs when their owners would go out of town. Being a teacher allows me to have nights, weekends, and summers off, and that allows me to have more time to spend with my pup. I love my dog, and I love other dogs too. I am always active with my dog, and we take frequent potty breaks.
