Pets are my passion!

Pet care experience

I've taken care of dogs (and cats!) since I was a kid. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and even help administer medicine to their pets. I've personally had three dogs, multiple cats, four ferrets, a few birds, and a couple aquariums... so I'm quite experienced with a variety of animals! I'm not a stranger with special needs and critically ill animal care either. I have a ton of experience with animal rescue and fostering. You can rest assured that your furry companion will be well taken care of. I'm able to give your dog a bath if you request it, but the extent of my grooming experience is using a dremel to trim claws. I charge $15 for each.

Carrie took great care of our boy! She sent frequent pictures and updates which we appreciated. We will definitely book with her again.

Carrie & Renato were great. I was s little worried about Nova since this was our first time leaving her with a sitter , but both of gut babies did really well. Carrie kept me up to date and sent pictures while I was away. Will definitely use in the future.

Carrie is an all around kind, knowledgeable, and excellent dog sitter! We had to leave our two dogs for a two week international trip and Carrie was extremely communicative and sent photos the whole trip. Our dogs can be pretty nervous about new people, but they love Carrie and Renado so much! It’s really reassuring to know that there’s a wonderful home away from home for them here! We’re so grateful!

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have a fenced in yard, but there is a park in my neighborhood if you would like your dog to get some extended time outdoors. Otherwise I can take your dog for a walk and/or let them outside for potty breaks while on a leash. I have a spare room in my house that will be used to accomodate your furry companion, but I have no problem letting them free roam too. There is a cat who has her own room set up in the basement where she tends to isolate most of the day and I also have two ferrets, but I do not intend for your pet to meet them. Safety is my number one priority.

Information Carrie S. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog is at all reactive or has any behavioral issues (resource guarding, separation anxiety, chewing, etc.). Please provide a crate if you foresee it being needed, otherwise I'm not going to stress it. I'd appreciate a heads up if your dog isn't potty trained or ocassionally has accidents. This can be accomodated, but I'd appreciate knowing in advance.

A typical day

There's a park not far from my house that we can go explore (with your permission). Feel free to provide me with any and all toys they enjoy playing with.
