Pet care experience
Although I have never owned a dog for myself, I have had experience working with my brothers dog as I have spent significant amounts of time staying with him as well as being around friends and extended family's pups!! I have worked with dogs of all ages and love going on long walks. I am perfect for a dog that loves to be outside and get lots of exercise. I’m a big hiker and walker!

Since the first time Carrie met my cavapoo, Nugget, she gave him so much love! She is so good with him and loves to play with him and work on training lessons I have taught her, and makes sure he gets so many pets and snuggles! Nugget absolutely adores her and get so abundantly excited every time he gets to see Carrie. You cannot go wrong with booking Carrie!
Carrie has been a caregiver to my dog Nelson, a heeler, on a couple occasions. Nelson, generally an aloof dog, is consistently very excited to see Carrie ever since they met! I know by the way Nelson acts after a stay that Carrie treats him well. Carrie is in general a kind, insightful, and very helpful person and I would trust any responsibility in her hands, dog or otherwise!

I live in a two story townhouse in a very pet friendly neighborhood! I do not live on a busy street and have no other pets of my own in the house. I love to go on frequent walks and will make myself available for whatever your pets needs are!

A typical day
I love to go on walks anywhere but I do most of my walks around my neighborhood or greenways! I also do lots of hiking and walking on outdoor trails through the woods. With your dog I would love to play fetch, tug-of-war or any other activities keeping your dog active! I also will love to sit, relax, and pet your puppy when they are ready for a rest!

Availability
I am currently working as a registered nurse 3 days a week! I am home for the majority of the day the 4 days of the week and have a very flexible schedule. Outside of work I have no other required commitments which makes me able to work around whenever your pet needs care!!
