Your Dog's Favorite Friend

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Carrie, a professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA certification pending!) recently relocated from Portland. I am a graduate of Whole Dog Academy's Professional Dog Training program, specializing in positive reinforcement training methods. I love and treat my dog clients as members of my own family and I care deeply about helping humans understand and connect with their pups, improving canine-human relationships through education, training, compassionate coaching and just plain fun! As I get settled here in Eugene I've had to put my business on hold (my current lease isn't pet friendly! :( BOO!) but I look forward to inviting pups back into my home in the near future. For now, I am most excited to help Eugeners exercise and care for their pets while they're at work or away. I offer in home pet-sitting, private training, potty-break visits, cuddle time, neighborhood walks, trips to the dog park and longer excursions as needed. If you're the lucky owner of a pup who loves to run, swim, hike and explore, a 1-3 hour adventure can provide the physical and mental stimulation your dog needs to thrive (and stay out of mischief at home!) Whatever your dog care needs, I'm here to help! Please feel free to reach out if you need comprehensive, compassionate, reliable care for your canine loved ones. Your dog will be safe, happy, well-exercised, and filled with yummy treats and love in my care! Thanks so much, I look forward to getting to know you and your pooch! Woofs and Wags, Carrie (I am happy to provide references upon request!)

Carrie was amazing. She took such good care of our boy Bentley. Daily walks around the neighborhood. Trips to the dog park. She is clearly an animal lover and is great with dogs. She kept us up to date on how he was doing. Sent us photos. I would highly recommend her.

It was wonderful having my pup stay with Carrie! She is friendly, patient, and very responsive with both dogs and their owners! I appreciated that she recognized how energetic my dog is and allowed her plenty of time to run and play - even bathing her after a muddy dog park visit! So thankful to have found a wonderful sitter!

Carrie was a great and gracious host. Her place is clean and single-level (great for my dog, who isn't great with stairs). She has a nice back yard and my dog seemed reluctant to leave when I went to pick her up! Anyway, would definitely book her again. Great first experience.

Our dog was very well taken care of! Carrie took him outdoors often, and he had plenty of exercise and attention. He's a very active and large dog which can be a handful at times. But she took amazing care of him... and sent plenty of pictures to boot, which we loved! 100% recommended!
