Pet care experience
Safety is my top priority and due to the Covid-19 virus, I will practice all safety precautions during all my pet visits. My preference for Meet and Greets would be face to face so that I can meet your pet. I am an experienced pet care provider and have taken care of different types of dogs ranging from small, medium, and large breeds. I am also familiar with puppies and senior dogs too. At a young age, I was very passionate about learning dog behavior and psychology. I have worked with skittish and anti-social dogs towards people as well. I am familiar with dogs that had seizures before. I am also familiar with cats and senior cats who need medication or pets with special needs. At home, I have three dogs who all love to go on hiking trails and swim at the lakes or pool. I enjoy spending my time outdoors to do dog walks or dog parks and give them the exercise or socialization that they need. I also enjoy spending my time teaching a dog new tricks or commands. Please feel free to ask me any questions or address any concerns if you have any! I am very responsive and will always have my phone with me.
Reviews
Carrie was awesome. She was so professional and friendly and seemed genuinely excited to spend time with our babies. Our two boys loved her!
Carrie did a great job taking care of my two cats while I was on vacation. She was very attentive to their needs and provided updates on a regular basis. Carrie is very friendly, trustworthy and has a great attention to detail. Highly recommend!
Carrie is great at taking care of animals and always is attentive to their needs. My small Chihuahua Maltese mix rescue named Zeus was very shy when he first met her, but now he always gets so excited whenever Carrie comes to pet sit him. I left out of town for about 2 weeks and Carrie always sent me updates on Zeus and also funny videos of him. She also took him out daily for walks and potty breaks too. One thing I admired about her too was that she taught Zeus that it was okay to eat beside another dog. Since my dog was a rescue, I had a hard time teaching him that it was okay, but Carrie was able to teach him in about 2 weeks! I recommend having Carrie as your local pet sitter or dog walker because she truly is the greatest at taking care of your fur babies and will treat them like her own.
Carrie was wonderful and applied all of the current obedience rules we are training our 2 puppies with.

I currently have a fenced-in back yard with a swimming pool that we let our dogs swim in. We are a non-smokers home and would prefer meet and greets to see if your pet will be compatible with our 3 dogs at home. We also have XL crates for those dogs or puppies who request for crate training time.
Information Carrie L. would like to know about your pet
I would love to meet your pets before placing them under my care. The typical questions I usually like to ask pet owners when I first meet them and their pets are: What is your pet's regular routine like? What is there meal schedule like? Who is there Veterinarian incase of an emergency? Is there an emergency contact person? How do they react to other pets or strangers? Do they have any favorite hiding spots at home incase they are shy with strangers?
A typical day
On our dog walks, I like to walk long distances because I believe it is important for dogs to receive their mental stimulation outdoors each day. If there are dog parks near by, I like to take the dogs there to get some playtime, dog socialization, or a nice game of fetch. During walks, I do not let dogs break into their bad habits. I like to ask pet owners what I can do to keep their trainings consistent or what things to avoid during my time with the pet.
