I've been providing animal care in Bastrop County for over ten years. I regularly care for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and fish. I have several years of experience with geriatric dogs who have problems which include visual impairments, hearing loss, and seizures. I can administer medicine in liquid or pill form. I have also cared for both puppies and pregnant dogs. I enjoy lengthy walks, and am happy to help your dog help me get my exercise. Time spent with animals is one of my favorite parts of the day. I try to make it just as enjoyable for the animals.

Elizabeth was so great with our dog, Tucker. She showed up at the times we had planned, gave updates with the right amount of detail and was super responsive the whole time. We felt better knowing she was there to take care of him while we were away and would love to work with her again.

I will keep cats indoors, unless specifically informed that they should go out. Dogs are on leash when outside of a secure enclosure, and I don't let them off leash in a dog park unless requested. On walks, I make sure to pay attention to signs of overheating or problems with pads to avoid weather related injury or illness.

Availability
I am fully booked 9:30-12 Tues, Wed, Thurs. I am routinely available in the earlier morning and afternoon. I am available all afternoon and evening on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. On MWF, I am booked 6-8 PM, but available before and after. I'm generally flexible, and can often move things around. I like to work with people as much as possible. My recommended back-up sitter is Xe'Nedra W. I'm happy to send a link to her Rover profile.
